Works as indicated!
Used this tonight and it made foiling so easy. Took a few tries to get the hang of it but I had my project foiled in no time! Money is time and this is a time saver!Tip- trim foil backing often.

Whoever came up with this is a genius
Very very easy to use. It took me about five minutes to get a feel for it then I was off to the races. I did multiple shapes and sizes and the foil went on so quick. I highly recommend this, so easy and quick to use

Works so good
I got this when my cousin told me about it and I have used it a lot and love it. It did take a little getting use to setting it up but after that, I use the heck out of it. Love it.

There is a learning curve
I have been using this for a while, put it aside because it didn't seem to work all that well .... pulled it back out and after about an hour it clicked and works great for all but small pieces or heavy texture glass. Once you figure it out, what a time saver, cut my foiling time in half!

Problem with product
The roll of copper foil sticks to the table. As a result, I cannot make the foiler work. It just breaks the foil.

Huge Timesaver
Hand foiling for 20 years I was skeptical but, this device cut my foiling time by two thirds. I especially like how the foil is completely centered on every piece. There is a learning curve. Inside curves and cuts plus very small pieces still need manual foiling. Pieces less than 1/2 inch should be manually foiled. For those having issues...one thing I found is to adjust the drum with the black rubber o-ring, before you thread the foil, slide your piece of glass in and then adjust the wing nut. Make sure the glass is perfectly centered in the drum. Also, you really need to apply steady pressure the whole time to push against the inner rubber o-ring which crimps around both sides of the glass. If you just move the glass through without pushing against the drum it will not crimp. You still need to burnish both sides which just takes a second or two after foiling since you dont have to crimp. If you have an inside cut in the middle of a piece, go ahead and foil to that point and then pull out a bit more foil and manually crimp that inside curve and then continue using the foiler.

Takes practice
I love this table foiler. At first, I couldn't do it at all and considered returning it. But, I continued trying and, after a couple of hours I got the hang of it. It's important to press firmly at the 7 o'clock position after you get the glass properly positioned. I also slightly blunt sharp points and use a pivoting motion to turn corners. Now I wouldn't be without it. Great tool for stained glass foiling.
