These are pretty flimsy and they run pretty small. Meh.

Great substitute for conventional tabi!
These are just what they claim to be, split toed socks. I am a licensed Urasenke tea practitioner, and my feet have spread due to wearing sandals into old age. These look right and are far easier to size and put on than standard modern tabi with the metal tabs in the back. Those metal tab tabi are themselves recent innovations and were not around in the time of Sen no Rikyū anyway. Enjoy tabi socks which are actually comfortable.

Caused my fiancee to break out. Apparently he's allergic to something that was on or in them.
