Damn! You Will Be In Shock 😮
When requiring information on a health subject all the core info needs to be in one place which this book has done incredibly in a very well structured manner..Oil safety, scientific experiment results & drug interactions are NOT included in this book beside each oil or in general but is "essential" to get that also for safety. This would have to be a seperate book it could be 700 - 1,000 more pages but there is a very very tiny general safety info section including alergic reaction, oils to avoid, pregnacy, but this says little. I personally would want an additional book for the pictures that show the colours of the oils and examples are good for learners and so on but ONLY "in addition" to this book so would still see this book as an absolute must. The cover is soft back. Id have bought hardback if available to preserve it as its huge & heavy with a wealth of info and "well" worth getting. The book is extra thick without images or colour besides black and grey. Writing is medium and readable. there are many some useful charts within various sections. There is a section with a list of oils (chart) that explains what each oil on the list is for.It says it includes 125 oils and absolutes on the listIt is in order of cataogory (e.g men, children, beauty, major illnesses and more.. more categories are listed below) then alphabetically in order of ailments within each of the catagories which means not scambling around to find which oil does what then searching for oils and blends for the ailment while the client or self- administrator is falling apart in the mean time.catgories are on things such blends for concerns and ailments etc for male, female, sports & dance, children, teenagers, travel care kit, animals, carrier oils, home spa, beauty, cooking recepies with oils, self defence kit, basic care kit, maturing years, fragences, hydrolatsa section for major health concerns (aprox 35 pages). within a catagory theres different common ailments and conerns with info about them and blends for each of them. Some ailments and concerns under one catagory is not always strictly for that catagory. Under women it has liver info. Pnumonia falls inder maturing years and there is a a lot of that in the book so theres heaps of concerns that some may class as major and/or semi-major still under each catagory..The book looks like it may have taken years and a lot of careful thought and it is well structured and highly comprehensive with explicit detail on "each" ailment. There is not just a handful of ailments in the "major health concerns" section but there is no ailment i have search & not found in the book and the information is indepth. for example; copd, colds, pelvic pain, sores, sexual health, alzheimers, dementia, cancer, stroke, muscles, injury, multiple sclorosis, chronic fatigue and more with a good amount of detailed info on each ailment. It also offers info on;* The actual ailment its-self with advice plus al list aromatherapy individual (single) oils plus an oil blend for each ailment..* the blend contains quite a few oils together for each ailment. 4-5 quite a lot and can be a bit more.*hydrolat chart for skin conditions.* the name & latin name of the oilsThe headings for the ailments are highlighted, bold & large so its easy to find them so its not a struggle to use by far. There is also;dilution informationmethods of use charts (bath/compress etc)basic oil kit list for common ailment list for the basic care kit with instuctions & oil blendstable including oils which are antibacterial, anti-viral & anti-fungel also confirming which oils on the list are one but not the other etc.oil travel kit infooils for babies infooils for children infopostnatal careinfo on politionplant infomental health informationThis a for highly professional use and except for a student that has just passed or doing an aromatherapy course and it ca be used ro teach from for an aromatherapy lecturer.Compared to other peoples prices for their aromatherapy books either this book is worth more or theirs os worth less as it does not match up to a single aromatherapy book ive ever seen and i have an abundance including electronic to compare it to. Usually theres things missing a smany books are in order of oils instead of ailments which is pointless if requiring a book with almkst everything. Please do this so we all help each other out; whenever discribing a book instead of saying; great book, good information, excellent buy, please do as i have done above so we have info on the contents in detail, an idear of layout, ifmf theres drawigs, colour photos, quality, quantity of info on each thing or just breif detail on each thing, main focus of the book and if it is ailement order or remedy order where applicable and as much "relevant detail" as possible so it helps us all buy he right books.I really hope the above helps you make an informed decision. Take care now.

Should be renamed "The Essential Oil & Aromatherapy Bible"
The ONLY book you'll EVER need if you want to know about essential oils and how to use them from simply using them in a diffuser to applying to the body for ailments.Don't let the fact that it ships from America put you off buying this book as it arrived much earlier than the stated delivery window.

Our go to for everything
absolutely wonderful and our go to for everything. My only down side to this book is i find it’s lacking a lot in the kids chapter but the author has an incredible book just for kids that is our holy grail at home. So grateful for these books and Valerie Ann Worwood

Well worth every penny.
I bought this as I know it will come in use. I have done an aromatherapy course and qualified with distinction. Oh yes. I know that this book will be of use for me and my job. I have used done ideas from it for my personal use. It is very good and explains why you need to know quite easily. Using alternative ways in stead of relying on basic medicine is a must. It's very rare I use prescribed medicine. This book explains everything you need to know about essential oils and recipes. Go out and buy yourself a copy.
