Purchased this to cut vinyl. I did receive one as part of a pack of tools but it was flimsy, kept falling apart etc. I couldn’t complete the job properly. I purchased this one and it is great. Sturdy tool, good cutting accuracy, great grip, blades sharp, lightweight and precise. Comes with a lid for safety.

It promises much: soft grip, standard blades, easily replaceable and so on. It comes in a simple blister pack with a few spare blades. It is not in a case but does have a plastic cap over the blade. It is indeed nice to hold with a soft grip and very easy to use. The blade holder section does not stay tight though and requires constant twisting to keep it useable. Its really annoying when you are about to cut and find the blade rotating as you do so. Then the handle end fell off and would not go back on as there is no screw fitting, catch or similar. In the end I had to wedge a sliver of paper in the hole and push the blade end into it so it would stay put. Its a shame as a slightly better manufacturing standard would make it perfect.
