A very versatile sander
I bought this sander on an impulse as I already had the Makita orbital and 1/3 sheet sanders. However, with the extra pointy sanding base and double sided velcro attachment it really adds something to the party when sanding into doors and crevices, plus with a sanding pad on the upper surface it can be used to sand the bottom of doors without removing them first. It's comfortable to use, not too heavy, and does a great job. Just a pity it's only got 2 speeds as 3 would have been better.

Great piece of kit for any finishing sanding.
Included the corner iron plate and sanding pads for all which I wasn't expecting for the price.Dust collection with the bag included is a little "how's you going" but it's good for 30 min's until it needs emptying.All round, good buy.

Nice, Easy to use well worth the cost
My old B&D sander has run bearings, over 45 years old. I have loads of Makita kit, 5 batteries (3 x 4AH, 2 X 5AH) so it was a no brainer not to get this. As others have pointed out it gets into spaces the other square ones don't.Value for money, Easy to use.Only thing I do not like is the on/off. Starts on high. Not a problem.

Good finishing sander
Use this for finishing as you can use any grade paper on it as it has clips that mean you can use sheets as well as Velcro pads use random orbit before this to remove heavy scratches and finish with this for excellent results
