Excited for the slopes
I didn’t want to have a bag to carry the skis from the car, so I’m glad I found these straps and for a decent price

My dad thought it was silly so that means it was perfect!
My dad who has been skiing his whole life took me, his 20 yr old daughter, skiing for the first time. Just thinking about carrying 2 6ft long skinny pieces of wood after falling down a mountain really did not sound like misery I wanted to put myself through so I took to the internet to find a solution. Then I found this silly little product and you bet your booty I wore my skis like a backpack the entire trip while my dad looked mildly annoyed that I followed through with bringing this gadget on our trip. At least I had my hands free to catch myself when I slipped and fall on the icy ground...

The velcro straps are a little annoying because the sticky part of the velcro is super long and sticks out a couple inches, so it likely to catch on clothing. You might be able to fit two pairs of skis in this because there is so much room, but I didn't try. As far as wearing it as a backpack, I was able to put it on my back over a backpack. I required a good couple feet of clearance behind me (so wouldn't work in crowded situations), but it was SUPER helpful for getting my own skis out of the way so I could help my two little kids.

Keep it simple...
So simple and easy to use! I got this at the end of the season so haven't tried long distances with it yet. Would have loved to have it at Snowmass for the hike up to long shot, and I'd be willing to try more hikes with this nifty item that will be easy to carry in my pocket. Thinking the hike out to the bowl at Winter Park, that was a long trudge carrying skis in my hand. But even some of the walks from the parking lot or shuttles will be easier with this. Only downside is that if you carry your ski boot bag as a backpack you won't be able to use this. So if you boot up in the lodge, find a pack that you can strap your skis on for hands-free convenience. Overall very pleased with the product. Time will tell as to how it holds up.

Love this strap
These straps are great! They can be used like a backpack, a sling, or over the shoulder (like a purse, I guess). I got this for my wife and a single strap design from another company for myself. I prefer the versatility of this design. We were so happy with this that we got one for our seven year old. She uses it like a sling (under one arm and over the shoulder of the other) because as a backpack the skis tap her helmet sometimes when she walks. I ended up buying a 3rd strap for myself and I am giving my single strap to my 4 year old. These straps have been a game changer for getting our family of 4 from the parking lots to the powder.

Can be awkward
These are very awkward to use for the average person. The straps work like a book bag over your shoulders with the skis poking up over your head. However if you're six foot plus as my husband is when you walk up the stairs the skis hit you in the back of the legs. they are awkward but if you want to sling them over one shoulder and carry them to your side it works much better.

Super Awkward
I’m 6’ and these straps are just so awkward for me to use. Going down stairs, they make my skis hit them. The weight isn’t very balanced either. They’re durable, good quality, but kinda useless for my setup (especially considering I wear a backpack). Will have to return but if it works for you, cool

Very very simple to use!
Very easy to use and makes your ability to get your equipment gathered up and toted onto the gondola, etc., especially when you are worn out. So easy to just hand my skis all strapped up to the gondola operator guys and get down the mountain with minimal exertion. Like the option of using over the shoulder or as a backpack but do agree with a previous review on these that if you're short and try to use as a backpack it might be a little difficult and hard to walk very well without hitting your skis on the ground or your head!
