Talon LGP3S 30-Amp Enclosed, Outdoor Rated, Receptacle , Gray

This metal outlet box was exactly what i needed to mount externally on my shed. All connections were excellent quality. Easy to mount and connect. The only issue i have with it is that it is not flat on the back and therefore sticks out from the wall slightly. I had to run a bead of silicone along the top to keep water from getting behind it.

This box and outlet seems very good quality. It was easy to install and has good diagrams. The only thing I would have liked to see is the ability to lift the lid and have it stay up like most breaker boxes.Also, FYI this box does not include its own breaker, make sure it’s wired through one at end where you’re drawing power from.

The box actually was set up for 120/240v 4 pin twist lock. Not the RV 30 amp as advertised. The box was obviously used with the knocks bent and mis-shapen. I spent $8 to replace the plug with the correct 30 amp RV plug. I was very disappointed.

Door has a tendency to come out of its track. Not a deal breaker just an aggravation.

Box is okay....cover did not fit over cord. It's in pool house so dont care too much. Other than that it was decent. I think I ordered this one because of the reviews on another box said cover wouldn't close so I took a chance on this one.

Box sides are not waterproof around knockouts. Photo shows daylight looking to the outside. The receptacle was designed for terminal ends. It took a week to order this in. The receptacle connections fit loose in a slide. A top cover holds them in. The whole setup has to be dismantled to connect the wiring, as the prongs slide around, and it’s hard to get the clamp on ends to line up with the sliding bolt holes. I assume the back of the receptacle was flawed, but the side cracked off while tightening the bolts down. The plate was not designed for standard 30 amp receptacles, so even replacing that is not an option. This was the cheapest option at the time. It has cost me a lot of time and money, and it is all poorly made. Spend a little more and get a better quality product. If you do buy this one, realize that you can never change the receptacle because the whole thing is not standard size. No other receptacle will fit in the hole, and the screw attachment point are not standard.

I used this product on the outside of a building to supply 30 amp power to an RV.There is enough space to manage 10# wire and the receptical is strong with good connection points.this product will last a lifetime

I installed this box outside to provide power to my RV while it is parked in the yard. Based on some other reviews, I was expecting a mid grade box and receptacle, but this product did not disappoint at all. I had no issues with the knockouts as some others had mentioned.The cover fully closes with the RV cable plugged in.

Delivery was super fast, no instruction for wiring, but if you are ordering this item you probably know a little bit about electronics.Easy to mount and best of all... waterproof.
