I traded my wife for one of these and never looked back
It cooks for me, can come with me wherever I go, is always up for an adventure and is never too tired when I feel like rattling it. For the man who likes his beer strong, his steak rare and his women confined to an Internet browser tab this mug is perfect. Grow a beard, sit on a hill and be happy with this new companion

OK but there are better options
This is a solid bit of kit but heavy when compared with the titanium equivalents (assuming you can justify the extra expense). Also the lid is sold separately and is fiddly to use. Many titanium cups/pots come with a lid that incorporates a folding metal handle which is a breeze to use. This compliments the matching BCB bottle and stove but as a stand-alone mug I'd rather pay more and go for a titanium equivalent.

Top quality and great to use
High quality construction, doesn't leave an after taste in the mouth and with stands a fire. Had my first cup of Nettle tea in this and thoroughly enjoyed the tea and using this to make it.I'm getting more interested in Bush craft and this will be an essential part of my kit now as it has proven to be invaluable to me over a few weekends!!

Works well with military shaped bottles, BCB pouche and lids
Not much to comment on with these. They are what you would expect. The handles fold out securely and don't flap around. Reassuringly solid steel with measuring indicators. You can buy lids for these and both the military shape bottles fit inside and the item fits into the BCB puches well.

Awesome Canteen Cup
Used it many a time on open fires - not used the plastic lid for it yet so no complaint about the melting lid horror stories.Cooks food thoroughly and is as rugged as a mountain man!Cleans with no problem what so ever but I'd recommend to get the stainless steel version as I've heard the teflon coated one has the paint peel off after a little use :|

BCB Cruader
Bought one of these as my mates all have them and use them and swear by their usefulness and reliability ect ect. It isn't cheap compared to other similar products on the market but its sturdy and strong and will probably last a long time I guess. Can be used as a cooking vessel or drinking vessel, so far so good, worth the extra you have pay for it, recommended.

solid, perhaps too solid
I got this as part of my lightweight camping kit as it is versatile and it wasn't expensive. It is heavy though but if you want the uber lightweight versions they are eye wateringly expensive. i certainly got what i paid for and it is very useable as cook pot and cup, but i am not sure i would make the same choice again. If you don't mind the weight then this is the one for you.

Nice
Great bit of kit, boils very quick when over a stove. Tip : save money on buying a lid for it by simply turning the mug over onto its head onto cardboard, draw around it, cut out the template and then wrap tin foil around it.
