Bluetooth is worth the extra cost
I had a 40 Amp version of this branded by Grape Solar that melted down when the positive wire from the panels came loose causing sparking. So I purchased this as a replacement. The theoretical output of my panels could be as high as 48 Amps so I really needed one that could handle more current anyways, and this lets me add another panel or two in the future. One of my biggest beefs with this unit is lack of a backlight. I had a spare Linrose 3 LED White Weatherproof Module left over from another project and stuck it underneath the LCD display inside the unit, then attached the leads to the Load output, observing the correct polarity and set the Load Output mode to 15 (test mode). It does a nice job of backlighting the display and also indicates when the load switch is turned on. And it only consumes about 50 mA of current from your battery bank.Another issue I had with it was with the screw connectors. I found that 4 gauge wire required tightening the screw all the way then inserting the wire and loosening the screw, while 6 gauge wire required loosening the screw all the way, inserting the wire and then tightening. It took several attempts and the ruining of several screws to discover this! But the nicest feature of this controller made it all worthwhile. Bluetooth and the Solar App that comes with it makes it stand out from all the rest (BTW- you have to download the App from the IOS App Store by searching for "SRNE"). With it you can monitor the stats at any time. You can access years worth of logs of the highest and lowest power levels from your panels, you can configure and fine tune the trigger limits for over and under charge, etc. You can even turn the load off and on remotely which is handy if you are using the Load Output to turn off and on an inverter like I am.

Good charge controller for larger loads
This works great. I have 2 similar charge controllers, in the 30-amp version. I was expecting this to be the same, by the photos, but it is distinctly larger. (Which is good, because it allows larger wire sizes.) I have this set up to run large loads during the day, including a fridge, chiefly off solar rather than battery storage. So far, it is working great...

GREAT
WONDERFUL

Decent unit
THE unit has been working about 2 months will maintain your battery set up ,falls short under big loads will go into default mode.

Five Stars
Work nice

Works great, nice and compact.
User Manual is very cryptic about changing settings, so I deducted one star. There is no warning, but the base is conducting which is good for mounting and heat sink. However, it is exactly the size of the space between the plus and minus of my battery, so don't drop it between the terminals.

Good PWM solar controller I have ever used!
I am using one and It's working just fine, I have had no problems with it.
