Solid choice
I have 8 3d printers and this is my favorite resin. A standard resin printer's screen is only rated to last 2000 hours. This is fine for most hobbyists as replacement screens are available and easy to install. I, however, have printed hundreds of miniatures one at a time and knowing that I'm not going to have to fix this machine is worth it in my book. I have run into the issue of voxelization and just apply a blur when slicing to counteract it. Yes, the blur does lessen the very fine detail but that's detail that gets covered up when I paint anyway so it doesn't matter.I highly recommend DLP printers.

Very nice printer bit hard to dial in.
Looks nice prints even better. Was a bit hard to dial in the resin but once done it works great. The print area is smaller then the mono but has about the same amount of detail. Its quite and but a bit slower then my other printers. It also prints a mirror images of the file. Thats a minor inconvenience at most. The motor is a bit under powered but it still works. It cost more then the mono but with the prospect of not replacing the screen i am hopeful that it will cost me less in the end. Very happy with the buy.

Love this printer. Messy? It’s resin, so… but makes great prints.
Really about 4 1/2 stars. Had a minor issue getting residue warnings even with freshly cleaned cat and platen. I started doing the screen exposure thing before printing and that seems to have resolved it.For a $250 printer this thing is amazing once you get past a brief learning curve. I’m making small jewelry patterns and the detail is easily up to the task. My castings are sand castings so I can’t speak to the Castable resins, although I bought some, I have not tried it out. For now I’ve used only the Anycubic brand standard resin which works well and is durable enough for repeated use in sand molds.Very happy with this. My only beef, and it’s something I was aware of, it ships with FEP tank film, which is pretty fragile. If you use the recommended plastic spatula you will undoubtedly scratch it or even pierce it. The good news is that is you can buy pre-mounted replacements reasonably cheap so once get used to the level of care required it’s ok.

Worst ever
If you do buy. Buy from amazon. If you buy directly from anycubic you will not be able to return your item. I bought 2 at the same time 1 from amazon and from there direct website due to only 1 being sold at the time on amazon. These units are not good quality at all and will be a nightmare from first day unboxing. If anyone one is looking to buy. please buy from amazon.. I am stuck with a 1000.00 paperweight.

Great for a First time resin printer
I'm really digging this little resin printer! Honestly, I'm a total resin newbie – my 3D printing experience up to now has been strictly PLA. So, while I'm comfortable with PLA printers, keep that in mind as you read this. That being said, I'm having a ton of fun with this thing. It's surprisingly easy to use, and cleanup is a snap. My prints are coming out beautifully.I did have a little trouble getting them off the build plate at first, but now I just run some hot water on the back, and they pop right off. Since this is my first resin printer, I can't compare it to others, but it feels like a solid piece of equipment, especially considering the price.I wanted something affordable for my first resin printer, just in case I didn't take to it, and this fit the bill perfectly. Setup was a breeze, and it's generally very user-friendly. The fumes are a little different than what I'm used to with PLA, so I'm still figuring that out. I haven't had any real problems so far. I suspect it might be a little finicky in a cold room; warmer temperatures seem to work best. And a huge plus is that it plays nicely with Anycubic's water-washable resin. As long as I keep the lid on, the fumes aren't an issue, and cleanup is incredibly easy with just water – no isopropyl alcohol needed! If you're in the market for a smaller resin printer, or if you're a resin newbie like me, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a shot.

slow but great
The quality of prints is absolutely superb. The dlp feature alleviates my anxiety of needing to replace the light panel often, giving a much longer lifetime than an lcd mask. I took one star off because I could not print any of the test files. It turns out that the default for the lift and retract speeds were both at 2mm/s (120mm/min) -- way too fast; the prints were being stuck to the fep film, ruining it. Slowing speeds down solved the problem. Claiming that the machine can print at 6cm per hour appears to be a deliberate lie: 6cm=60mm=1200layers (@0.05mm per layer)=2400s (@2s per layer)=40minutes. Lifting to 5mm and retracting down by 5mm adds 10mm of travel to complete for each layer, which at 2mm/s speed amounts to additional 5s per layer, so for 6cm, that adds 5s*1200layers=6000s=100min. So the total time to complete 6cm, with the fastest resin on the market at ideal, realistic settings, works out to 140minutes =2 hours and 20 minutes. All prints attempted at this speed still failed. Read: there is no way that this printer will produce 6cm in one hour as advertised -- that speed is technically impossible. My prints take 5 hours to complete every 6cm of height (exposure 2s, lift distance 5mm, lift speed 100mm/min, retract speed 120mm/min, layer height 0.05mm, lights off for 1s, etc.). Any attempt to speed things up results in failures. The other 4 stars are well earned!! I love the printer.
