Kitchen Elements Silicone Baking Mat, 15-Inches by 11-Inches, 2-Pack

I have been using these for about 6 months and they are really a good product. I know it's been said many times but absolutely nothing sticks to them. I had a cookie sheet with this mat on it sitting on top of the stove and I turned on the wrong eye and didn't catch it for a couple of minutes. The mat did discolor in one spot and the spot will not come out. However, it did not change the function of the mat at all and nothing sticks to that spot so it is merely a cosmetic issue. The only negative I have at all is that it does make some of my cookies spread too much but they are still well worth the price. I did put them on cookie sheets and heat them in the stove before using them and they do give off a chemical smell but after that initial time they have not smelled since.

Silicone mats are great for baking. I used the heck out of these for a couple years until they started falling apart and pieces of the coating embedded in my baked goods. The material in the middle of the mat looks like asbestos but if any of the layers were truly toxic I'd be dead by now. I have since bought Wilton baking mats which looks to be homogeneous throughout and not comprised of layers, as this is. I have used the heck out of the Wilton baking mats and they are holding up well. I recommend Wilton. All silicone bakeware discolors pretty quickly -- get used to it -- but food does not stick and the mats have many baking uses.

I baked florentine lace cookies which are very sticky and easily burned and this item did a great job. Its less expensive than the Silpat and did just as good a job. The directions did say to place on pan with the lettering up, and there is none so that is something very little, and mentioned before that is true. I have no cons about the product I have only used it a few times and nothing to complain about. A great product.

These are decent mats. They're not the authentic French imports that have the "SILPAT product of France" embossed across them. They are, however, pretty good silicone quality baking mats that perform about the same. I have used them a few times already and they work as expected. Easy cleanup, non-stick, good up to 400 degrees F. I would buy these again and would also recommend them to friends.

These work well - baked goods cam still birn on bottoms, but takes lots longer. Things do not stick. Wish they were bigger to fit my good baking sheets.

These Mats seems to do a great job in the kitchen, clean up is pretty easy. My wife likes to have these around for certain things she bakes.

I love these silicone baking mats. They are perfect for baking cookies. I have used another brand before but gave those to my daughter. Just replaced with this brand and they work exactly the same. I would recommend these to any one. Well worth the money. Product is a bargain.

As you mention in "Use and care" : Place the silicone baking mat or baking sheet with the writing facing upbut there is no any writing on the mat as seen on your ad.I just got it today and don't use it yet.

These are good mats. Things don’t stick, and they are easy to clean. The slightly smaller size makes them suitable for European ovens with baking sheets that are smaller than US baking sheets.Would buy these again, but I don’t expect I’ll have to; the mats look like they will last a long time.
