Great as a pop up camera. I use mine when I go away and have the stick up cameras full time.Great value for a pop up camera price wise as it links to the system. Just like all the ring products the motion detection is great. Easy to connect and set up. I just find that this one would be better as a pop up or a pet camera as if your relying on it to protect your home it can be turned off at the wall and the camera is down

Very easy to set up ! Just plug and play, picture quality is perfect and they are small and very discreet, well worth adding to your home security system. Highly recommend

We got this to monitor our cat (and other uninvited cats) entering and exiting the cat flap. It’s also a visible burglary deterrent located n our conservatory at the back of the house.It was easy to set up. We already have two Ring doorbells and added into the app. Apart from a couple of glitches the WiFi feed is good and the image is pretty sharp, including the night infrared mode, with a wide field of view. You can tilt the camera on its base to get the ideal angle.This is quite a small discrete item which looks good in any room. We had Ring Plans for the two doorbells and it was only £5/year extra to add this. I can now add additional security cameras if I want to without further cost for storing the footage.The only weakness I can see is that the privacy cover is quite flimsy, particularly the top pivot and has to be persuaded with a second push to fully close. I think the more ham fisted owner could easily break it. Generally a good product though

As is the same with every other Ring product we have, these are simply the best “pet cams” on the market, there’s absolutely no question about it. We have tried a lot of different pet cams over the years and none of them were very good. Notifications didn’t arrive or arrived too late, the only way to save footage was to record everything on an SD, quality was awful etc etc Well, these Ring pet cams are an absolute game changer. - Set up is easy and takes a few minutes - The quality is exceptional, fantastic wide angle lens that covers an entire room with the ability to zoom in without compromising quality. - Notifications are absolutely spot on, it’s so nice getting real time notifications and knowing it will instantly save the movement to your Ring app. - Can be left plugged in, the cover once slid over the lens turns the cameras off. We’ve been using them for months now and have not had a single issue, couldn’t recommend them enough.

Everything about the set up was fast and user friendly, exactly how it should be. Once set up, the Ring camera will get to work right away.The camera is controlled in the Ring app (download this before set up) and the app is very easy to use. You can check the latest notifications, look at a live view and change the settings. Changing the settings is a must. I have my security mode off when I'm at home, then turn it on when I'm out. Otherwise you'll get notifications every time somebody moves in the room your in.Live view is where this camera really shines. Through the app you can see live footage from the camera and even talk into the app so your voice comes through on the camera. Great for talking to lonely pets or telling Intruders the police are on their way!This is cheap, effective, easy to use home security for the masses. A must have if you want to monitor your pets or a worry free holiday.

all i need to say is outstanding . amazing battery life , amazing motion detection , fabulous and useful built in features an example being the siren . stores data using the cloud meaning you don’t have to worry about sd cards . also another thing to point out is that the video quality is bright and clear . i’m sort of a ring product manic as i have 2 door bells and now this 1 camera do coming from me i would say i recommend this product .
