Works as advertised 👍
Works as advertised. After a few minutes of setup it's ready to go with very little fuss. It also came with codes for 1 month of Xbox Ultimate and 1 month of Discord Nitro which was a nice surprise. Probably where some of its cost came from.Moving games across to it is effortless. On my Xbox Series X it will take a few minutes to transfer a game over depending on its size. The average transfer rate I've seen is around 6Gb/s.The design is nice and uniform. The cover fits over the part you insert into xbox snuggly, so if you have it on a keychain it's unlikely that you'll lose it very easily.

Very happy with this item
I have 2 Xbox series x in my home.i also have 2 x 1 TB expansion memory cards. I’m lucky because I can give an honest review of this WD 1TB compared to the Seagate 1TB.Both work as described giving what appears to be the same performance. I chose this one over the Seagate because it was £74 cheaper. Sometime buying cheaper may not be a wise thing as you pay for what you get….However, I’ve managed to compare both. They both have the same storage and in my opinion they both do the same thing very well. In my opinion there is no real difference in the way they work except for the price. On this occasion I would recommend this over the Seagate mainly because it’s more value for money. In this day of age when you pay such a lot of money for the Xbox series x console, the cost of the games and a need to buy a 1 TB expansion card you need to consider the cost of the latter.More people have bought the Seagate expansion card over this one. I can honestly say that you should seriously consider this one because it does the same. So save yourself over £74 because the Seagate is £199 and this is £125. I hope this helps people by looking at this review and by saving money.

Great storage solution
Awesome little hard drive, that I was amazed with how tiny this actually is, its so quite and fast and well worth the prize to increase my xbox storage but without having to worry about weather I have to move the games back to the main drive to play them like many of the other hard drives for xbox. It allows me to have more space and if I want to play xbox series x enhanced games I can just start them from the drive. It works well but can heat up, so be careful if you unplug it after a gaming session to use in another xbox, oh and on that note just make sure its plugged in all the way as it'll still show as recognised but won't allow you to play from it if its only plugged in a little, I found this whilst moving oblivion to my wife's console to save downloading it again.

Pricey but worth it?????
Price has reduced but still expensive compared to other non proprietary SSD storage, but perfomance wise this cuts the mustard and allows you to play your series x/s enhanced games directly from it which cannot be done with other external storage, if money is not your main focus then i recommend it, if the price is too high for you i would recommend an external media of some kind which is cheaper but requires you to move enhanced games from it to the internal storage to play.

Just what was needed and X/S optimized.
I needed some extra storage space as my Series X was running almost full and my external drive was only useful for storing and playing non X/S optimized games. So I purchased this at 1TB and it was just what was needed. There's no installation method or anything, literally just make sure its facing the right way and plug it in to the slot in the back of the console and boom. You're done.I was able to transfer the more larger titles to it very quickly. Destiny 2 for example is 180GB but was able to transfer to the card in under 10 minutes. The main feature is that the card is able to run X/S optimized titles from it. So I don't need to worry about having to transfer games to the console itself in order to play them. Even for 1TB I think its an excellent value for money and will considering purchasing a 2TB card in the future.

Should of brought sooner
Ran out of storage on my xbox and my friend recommended one of these cards. Easy to use, just plug and play. Just simple way to store your games and convenience of being able to play them directly from it rather than transferring from an external device. Would recommend for any gamers
