Saved me from buying a new Go Pro... the cover pops off too easily, but that's a design issue... This one works great!

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a replacement for my GoPro 8 since I lost mine doing a video. And this was the only one that actually had the part I was looking for. All the other ones where with a usb door which water can get in and mess up your GoPro. Easy install. No issues. It is made out of aluminum. It’s a littler heavier then the original but I’m not complaining. The only issue I have is that is it pretty pricey. At the GoPro store they sell them for like $16.99

A little pricey for a battery cover. However, it is what it is. This new cover fits my GoPro 12 perfectly and closes securely with a tight fit, a much improved cover from the original.

It fits well when closed and I trust to be water tight. It does seem to come off easily thought. Not sure if this is the camera itself or a something else.

This fits my GoPro Hero 8 perfectly. I got a defective battery door that wouldnt latch shut that came with my hero 8 so i never took it under water. With the new door i was able to get some under water videos. Very happy
