Huge improvement to my car, despite some imperfections
I started looking into these products after being bombarded with ads for them on Facebook. I have been messing around with bluetooth connectors/Alexa auto/charging mounts for decades, since my 2010 car lacks native bluetooth audio. All of them have had huge flaws.I took the plunge on this and it's a solid unit for the price. Worked out of the box with my iPhone, though I wish it would default to CarPlay when it starts up. It seems to be holding well on its mount (though I wish it came with a suction mount as the only place it fits in my car blocks its auxiliary clock/temp screen -- my fault). Installation took 5 minutes, max. It sounds great through my AUX port and having the screen is fantastic for GPS and music control. I debated whether to get a widescreen model and I'm glad I did, I can see my map and music apps at the same time. Siri works well, and I successfully completed a phone call with it. All in all, massive upgrade to my old car for the money, even without the backup camera or any use for its other features (Android auto, front camera, etc.).The backup camera feature looks amazing in theory and is a reason why I bought this unit specifically, but installation looks very intimidating to me as a reasonably adventurous tinkerer, even with very good YouTube instructional videos. The camera needs to mount outside your car above the license plate -- we're talking removing body panels from your car to route the wire and some electrical work. Not really fair of me to dock its rating for that, but be forewarned that you're looking at a few hours of pretty difficult work there.

Works very well as long as you consider some things.
I was really surprised by display. It's a must buy if you have don't have a head unit (speakers are pretty decent for the size), if your current unit doesn't have carplay and display but you have room on your dash or if your new head unit that you were considering will block vents, doesn't fit well or the display is in a really poor position or you just really want a cam and carplay in an easy solution. I can't think of a better and easier solution than this.In my use case, I have a head unit I really like but the display blocks my AC vents when the display is up. It's not bad and the solution is pretty good but I wanted to try something that could go on my dash so I got this. In my setup, I connect my phone to the already installed car stereo and to the podofo display simultaneously. I get audio and carplay via bluetooth albeit connected to two different devices. The unit seems of better quality than I expected considering the price, has tons of customization options and feels responsive. My only worry is how well it will do in the heat but so far it's been great and I live in a very hot climate. Some things to consider when buying, the mount could be better. I really dislike adhesive mounts. I'm going to try different solutions to see what is best. I'll most likely just bite the bullet and try the adhesive in the worst case. Make sure that your seating position is high enough that the display doesn't obscure too much of your view when it's on the dash. If you already have a rear cam, keep in mind that this does not use an RCA input. Yes, your phone will have to connect to two devices (not a big deal, it should do so automatically. Other then that, the product and what it comes with comes in a really well-thought out package. It's cool that they included a cig light splitter. You can connect USB-C for power considering you have a good enough power source (I think, I had to use the supplied cig to USB-C adapter). That's pretty much it. I'm not sure about the longevity in general but we will see. I've dealt with podofo before with another product and they have been awesome so I'm not too worried. The only thing dealbreakers you really have to watch out for is something to consider with all on dash displays. As mentioned before, your eye line has to be positioned well enough where your view isn't too obscured and that you are using a good mount (adhesives in my experience tend to be choosy about which surfaces work best on them). You also need a previous head unit or at least a bluetooth audio source for your car. Barring this, IMO, this is a really good buy.

Good way to add CarPlay/Android Auto to older car or single DIN radios
I have an older truck that has a single DIN radio in it. To put a double DIN in it I would have had to do a lot of modifying. This unit was a perfect add-in for my setup. The setup process for connecting to my radio was super fast. It gives you multiple ways to share sound (BT, Aux, or FM) but since I was buying it mainly for the Car Play / Android Auto option anyway the Bluetooth option worked perfect. The mounting bracket has a solid connection to my dash. The sound is crisp (through my car stereo). The unit boots up very quickly and so far I have had no drops with the wireless CarPlay. I will have to try the Android Auto option in the future as I was a long time Android user until recently. The screen has quick response to touch and so far I have not had a glare issue. I have only had it a week but have purposely been driving the truck more just to give it some testing. The rear view and front view cameras work as they should. The only negative I could at this moment give is the rear camera does not have an option to invert which changed the way i wanted to mount it but other than that it works great. I had already had a previous camera setup so connecting the reverse wire was simple for me.The Car Play options work great and respond quickly. As it should, you can use Siri to make changes and do things hands free. I assume it will work with Android Auto just as well. The true test will come in the summer months as I live in the lots of sunlight so hopefully it can handle the heat, that is my only concern at this time. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to add Apple/Android option to a car without it. I chose this one because the screen was wide but not tall so doesn't interfere much with visibility.Update:I've now put plenty of hours and several trips on the device and can positively say it continues to perform well. I even liked it enough to show to a couple of friends and one of them bought 2 as both their cars, like mine are not able to easily retrofit a Carplay/Android Auto stereo in them.At first I didn't realize it had an auto dimming feature but it does (not one that connects to your car lighting like a bolt in stereo would) and it works pretty decent. You can set the time you want it to dim and the level.I did have one issue and the customer service immediately responded and satisfactorily took care of me. I did start to have one section of the base start to pull up from the weeks of 90+ heat, but was able to easily take care of that (they also send a 2nd sticky pad but I didn't need it).The response time of the screen is way faster than some double DIN touch screens I have had experience with so very impressed with that. I have had no problems running Pandora, Sirius XM, Apple Car Play, Google/Waze/Apple Maps, etc. The screen is very responsive but voice commands work great too.Again, for those needing to add Car Play/Android Auto has limited options without major dash surgery, this unit has worked great and I would purchase again.
