This is a complex issue. Some people spend their entire lives dealing with charactersets and keyboard input so don't expect this to be trivial. I guess that's why there are a lot of frustrated and angry peole returning this keyboard; and I also suspect that they are confused. So I will cover the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.The Good: The keyboard is switchable between 4 different operating systems: Macbook, ipad/iphone, Android and Windows phone, and from my little tests gives full functionality in all those domains. You can stop laughing now about the defunct "Windows phone". It will also work with a Windows PC, but some of the extra functionality keys won't work, like the Music Control or the Screen Brightness, on that platform. HOWEVER, you have to select the keyboard personality by pressing [Fn]+iOS/Windows/Android on the keyboard. You also have to carefully select the input language being expected by the operating system.But now I will get to the really SWEET thing about this keyboard. Do you work with both Macbook/iMac and Windows PC? If so, I'm sure you get sick of mistyping the '@', the '#', the single quote and the double quote, because they are fixed in different positions in those operating systems. BUT, you can connect this keyboard to a MacOS PC and configure it so those keys are in the same position as on a Windows PC. You can then work with both machines seamlessly on your desk, without endless mistyping mistakes. Your poor little brain can consign the job of pressing keys to background processing, because it is no longer dependent on which machine you are using at that time. I've been wanting a solution like this for a decade! This keyboard even adjusts brightness and controls music just like the Apple keyboard as well!!The Bad: I bought this for a Windows PC and I didn't want to lose the ability to change brightness etc. Well, the special top row keys don't work as the windows keyboard ones do. The statement on the box that its Windows compatible is misleading. I'm guessing that its compatible with a Windows mobile phone.The Ugly: It isn't! It's a really nice looking keyboard. They've even gone to the trouble of printing all 3 or 4 different symbols on each key face, so that you don't have to guess what is available there.I strongly recommend this keyboard for a macbook/iMac, and ipad/iphone and and Android tablet/phone. Brilliant. I use it with my tablet and very happy with it. For that price it's ridiculous really. I love the feel of the plastic that doesn't feel cheap at all, but quite solid.The compact design fits in my bag nicely. As to longevity or battery life I've no observations. Only have it for 3 days.

I purchased this item to assist me in eidting the large amount of contacts in my iPhone. This keyboard is well made, but doesn't have much tactile indicators onF & J keys, which I find useful due to my visual impairment. However, I believe that this product may be faulted, as whatever is typed in is typed in at least twice eg, a seven didget telephone with four didget code ends up entering as several didgets more. This was used by my sighted PA with the same results, which makes me feel that it is not only me entering data - the keyboard is either faulted or far too sensitive, which renders it useful for the task I require it for. Please advise me on how to return this product with full refund.

Absolutely awful keyboard, it chews up the power of two AA battery's within a week, it continuously disconnects whilst typing and the space key amongst others is faulty.Do NOT buy this keyboard even if you are looking for an affordable alternative to other keyboards in the market; it'll just pack up within weeks proving it a total waste money. I would advise that you do not buy any products from this rip off company either.

A real!y neat little keyboard. It connects easily to my Android tablet. Unfortunately, it only seems to work when it wants to and I still can't find the right key combinations for most symbols. Couldn''t get a pound or quotation marks, they are not where they are supposed to be according to the physical keys. In fact, lots of keys are misplaced. Am returning it to amazon. Vry disappointed.

Very easy to get started with Bluetooth setup. Doesn’t feel cheap and looks like a product 5 times the price. Would buy again and highly recommend

Probably my own fault, but I found the description misleading. It says "wireless bluetooth", by which I assumed that it was both. Obviously if it's "bluetooth" it IS wireless, so adding "wireless", I assumed it could be used wirelessly (with a usb dongle) as well as ONLY bluetooth. (In the same way as my old keyboard connects). As it is I can't use it without buying a bluetooth adapter, as my PC doesn't have it built in!
