Amazing and convenient. One of the most "just works" music gadgets I've purchased.
This thing is great. I can add wireless midi to pretty much any device. This works just as you might hope. Plug it into a standard MIDI port and depending on the situation this will automatically find another CME device and connect, or present itself as a device to pair to.Unlike a few competitors, this does not require any external power or a battery to maintain. Just draws a tiny bit of current from the MIDI port itself. Brilliant.

Works with CASIO WU-BT10
Wow, I'm genuinely impressed with this device. You just plug it into a windows box, let it pair with the keyboard, and you're off to the races with no fuss or drivers, and low latency.Even leaving local control on the keyboard on, so I'm getting sound through both the onboard speakers and the bluetooth midi->vst->optical coax->speakers chain, it's still low enough latency that it only produces a very mild chorus effect, and that may simply be that I have two slightly different piano voices in play.

i've been using a midi guitar setup into multiple keys, rack synths and vst. works well for this.

Not compatible with all Roland bluetooth MIDI pianos.
The product is well constructed and is very simple to set up. Unfortunately it connected to, but did not transmit MIDI data from, my Roland FRP-Nuvola digital piano (Costco exclusive FP30X equivalent). This is mostly my fault as the seller does have a list on their website of confirmed compatible pianos, but I'm just posting this as a heads up for those not willing to hunt/non-tech-savvy. I'm sure they will add compatibility with future updates but as of this review, it does not work with my piano (both the device firmware and piano firmware were up to date when tested).

A real life saver
I am using this with:Windows PCAndroid TabletMeta Quest 3 and Quest 2 VR headset (PianoVision app)-I have a Kawai digital piano and did not want to run a USB cable around to my devices. However, I had trouble connecting my piano's Bluetooth to anything other than official Kawai apps. Windows requires 3rd party hacks for Bluetooth MIDI and they do NOT work well.-This device saves me the headache on everything. I had some troubles updating the firmware but eventually got it squared away. Once I had set the device up, it's SUPER easy. Just plug it into any device, the piano immediately connects with no noticeable latency, and it stays connected. It bypasses your devices bluetooth stack all together which is great, because many android apps don't support bluetooth midi. Please note - when I move my receiver 8 ft from my piano it starts to cut out notes. This is most likely a limitation on my piano's bluetooth transmission power, but something to keep in mind.I highly recommend this product. I would have given up on using my keyboard's bluetooth midi if i hadn't found this device.

No more MIDI cables on stage!
My keyboardist plays an old Korg Kronos, and because he only has two hands, I help out on a few songs with my MIDI controller plugged into the Korg. The problem is long MIDI cables. The solution is this USB stick. By popping it into any of his USB slots, it pairs instantly with the transmitter on my MIDI controller and is powered by his keyboard. Works great, no detectable lag, no more cables!

Breathing new life into an old IPad
This device is an absolute game changer for how I use my iPad for music production. I bought a set to see if I could sync my Behringer TD-3 MO with my iPad and it actually works amazingly well. MIDI over Bluetooth allows me to use my iPad to sync up my external synth to DM-1 Drum machine app on my iPad as well as a few audio plugins I use, all while freeing up the lightning port for an audio interface adapter. I run the headphones out of the TD-3 MO into the audio interface and then mix, add fx and sync the app to the synth via MIDI, creating a complete performance and recording setup. Very happy with this thing.

Good and bad.
As soon as you plug two devices in they auto sync and work fine. But when you try to sync them with Android it fails miserably. There are a few hilariously terrible steps you can take to try to make them connect with your phone but it's a waste of time.Support was always quick to respond but the answer is always the same. Delete your connections, delete your Bluetooth stuff, turn Bluetooth off and on, reboot your phone, try again. As you can see in there screen shot it says it connected but since it doesn't populate the serial number and other info it isn't really connected and you can't configure it. Support finally admitted that it doesn't work with all Android devices and they didn't test that many. I'm running a Pixel 6 Pro. I tried it with two other Android devices as well and it failed on all of them.I really wanted, no needed these to work. I'll keep an eye on them to see if they ever get their act together. If they would work I'd buy a lot of these for the studio and my live rig.
