The product works quite well as designed. It does not have an independent power supply to AC receptacle. It can run off a USB outlet from a computer.

Nice bright and I can use as a negative film display table. I worry a bit about the thin connection to the USB power adapter plug but it is holding tough so far. This has been a breeze to use. I like the one quick touch and dims all the way off or on. So we bought a bigger version for my wife to have fun with. This one is MINE! :)

WOW! Thin with adjustable brightness, that gets very bright. I bought it when I needed a light box for copying film negatives. Absolutely perfect for the purpose. I was about to buy a piece of lucite to make my own light box, but the plastic cost over half of what this cost! Totally pleased!

Do not buy this if you're going to use with negatives. Not bright enough. It was to late to return. Description said it would work with negatives. Nope.

I use this with my Canon 60D to copy old slides and it works great. The light is bright enough and consistently even. I use my camera mounted on a tripod with an extension arm to do this work.

This unit is much lighter than my old conventional lightbox. It can easily slip into my briefcase. It is plenty bright enough for my purposes. Plus, the price is quite good compared to replacing a conventional lightbox.

It works well for tracing for applique and for paper piecing it was a tremendous help.The draw back is having to plug into USB port for power - not as portable. Good price.

Great product. Nice dimmer button. I use it to look at film negatives.
