I bought this product last month and it's great! Unlike some of the other reviewers, I was looking for a small litter box "cover" that was attractive and easy to use. I have a small cat that uses a small red litter box pan in my bathroom. I got tired of looking at her litter box every day, so I selected this product. The small litter pan (bought at Walmart -- small dish washing pan (I think the dimensions are 15-3/4"L x 12-1/2"W x 6"H) fits perfectly in my hide-away end table. My larger male cats prefer not to use my little girl's litter box (thank goodness) so she finally has a litter box all to herself! I even placed her small water bowl and food dish on the top so she can eat without the dogs and other cats bothering her. I included a picture of one of my larger cats checking out the assembled end table. Even though he can fit inside without any problems, he chooses to use his much larger litter box in the other bathroom. For me and my little girl, this product is purr-fect!

It's pretty, but there isn't a door to open and ...
This is so small, that it does not fit even the smallest litterbox I could find. It's pretty, but there isn't a door to open and clean out a litter box, even if I could find one to fit in it. So, you have to pick it up instead. I wound up removing the back section and using that as an opening for the smallest litter box I could find. Very disappointed, not worth the money.

cute as a small endtable, not suitable for a litter hide or large cats.
it is very cute. that is it's best quality. it is not very well constructed. the top needs to be screwed on to the base so that it is stable enough for a cat to bump against without knocking it cockeyed. the wooden dowels are not snug enough to be useful, fortunately it has screws. the screw holes do line up, another plus.To say this is a litter hide is misleading. You have to pick up the whole thing to get it off the litter box, which is a big PITA. it needs to have either a door that swings open or a top that opens.Cats over 13 pounds will have a tough time getting in and out.Only a small litterbox will fit inside. I must have read the dimensions wrong. It is not build of very sturdy material and I'm sure my cats' claws will soon tear it up. It is not cardboard but it is flimsy which is odd for its weight.

I would not recommend or purchase again
The product came in damaged. The pieces were ill fitting once put together and the wood split. For a place for a cat to sleep its okay. If your using it as a hideaway for litter. Only the smallest litter boxes fit nothing else. I would not recommend or purchase again. It would be easier and better if I just made one myself from plywood and 2X4.

Great Idea and Works Well, But Some Design Flaws Lead to Kitty Litter Mess Around the Box
Used this in my children's room so when kitty spends the night in their bed, there aren't any cat accidents waiting for me in the morning. Works great to attractively disguise the litter box, but poor design (odd dimensions and no bottom) leads to a kitty litter mess in and around the box. I had to put a plastic sheet meant for a child's bed underneath to keep my carpet clean. With some little tweaks, this would be a great product for a really reasonable price!PROS:- Disguises litter box in a fairly attractive way- Seems to contain the "kitty potty" smell fairly well too-Allows the space on top to still be used for other items (we put kitty's water dish on top)CONS:- Really hard to find a 14" square litter box (in fact, I never found one and I use a 12" one instead)- Open bottom (no pan) so the litter is a mess on the ground in front of the box when the cat exits the box- Made of composite wood; seems to be fairly sturdy but I don't think it would stand up to much wear and tear (if moved around a lot)

An attractive addition to the house
I bought this table because the cats all like sleeping in the living room so I keep a litter box in the room just in case someone has an urgent need. Since 2 of the cats are senior citizens, they like things close and convenient. I started out with the cutout in the back and open side towards the room when I first got the table just so everyone could get accustomed to it and not be freaked out by the newness of the table. After about a week, we started turning it around until the kitty cutout was in the front. Everyone has acclimated to it and it does help corral loose litter. I do wish the cutout was bigger and the litter pan I use sticks out a little in the back but it certainly cleans up the corner and I don't feel like I have to apologize for having it in the living room.

This is a very!!! small box and does not hold a full size litter box. It was difficult to put together and then I could not even use. I would not suggest this product to anyone with a full size to large cat I am not sure even a kitten would kit.

I should have read the sizing for the litter box that would fit in this. I put it together--not as easily as it seems-only to find that it was pretty small for what it was supposed to do. It's for small litter boxes - size 14.5 x 14.5 inches. Smaller than the ones I have. It actually is cute, there were some dings on it that I can fix with a paint pin. My cats are using it sit in, so it's not a total waste.
