Cordoba C10 Parlor SP Acoustic Nylon String Parlor Size Guitar

I was uncomfortable with purchasing a guitar online without ever getting to play it, but I was absolutely not disappointed! This is just a beautiful guitar and the perfect size for a smaller person. Calida Guitars packed it very well, adjusted it, oiled and polished the fret board, and set the action. It has a full, rich sound and sustains notes nicely. I was previously playing a 1/2 scale Yamaha, so the slight increase in scale plus the quality of this guitar makes it such a joy to play. A beautiful quality instrument at such a fair price.

Guitar looks good very well made but it’s not what I wanted I am a classical guitar player as I thought I was gonna get a normal side GuitarI think I made a mistake to buy this guitar.

I bought my spruce C10 parlor online directly from Calido guitars. I was very nervous about buying a thousand dollar guitar without playing it first. I had read some Cordobas had sharp frets (maybe due to poor storage) and some other smaller issues and even a "luthier made" factory guitar will vary in sound from production. My guitar arrived last Saturday. Inside was a note explaining exactly what Calido did during the setup (polished and filed frets, adjusted neck and action, installed new strings) and indeed the guitar was set perfectly. I couldn't find a blemish anywhere on the guitar itself, it was carefully packed inside the included case and in a box with more padding. Being spruce, the tone will only get better, but it already sounds pretty good. I actually wasn't crazy about the strings I had installed (EJ46TT) so switched to Corum Savarez basses and installed the carbon G from a set of D'Addario HGH-3T trebles while leaving the B&E TT strings. This guitar SINGS now =). It will just get better the more it opens up. Finally, the 630mm size was much more of a game changer for me than I even expected. If you're small, with small hands, I highly recommend trying out this guitar. It gives up nothing in tone or volume to it's bigger sister. This is a parlor sized guitar which has a huge sound rich with overtones. I was playing a C7 before which has a big sound........the C10 blows it away!!! I ordered mine direct from Calido Guitars and it was on my front porch in just 2 days. Cosmetically it is perfect in every way.....it is art in wood!!!! I love the shorter scale and slightly narrow nut width, it works well for me. The treble strings that came on the guitar were on the dull sounding side for me, once I switched them out I was all smiles!!!! I smile every time I see it sitting out in my music room, and the smile grows even larger if I pick it up to play!!! If you're waffling on whether or not to purchase this guitar - go for it!!! Highly recommended!
