We use this as a nappy bin (it's the perfect size for a days worth between 2 toddlers.) If you give the lid a twist it's completely secure. We've used expensive nappy bins in the past but the cartridges are such a faff and I've found that they don't actually do very much to contain the smell. This does the job at a fraction of the cost and hassle. Highly recommend!!
