Description

This versatile hiking pole is excellent for trekking in both summer and winter, back country skiing and mountaineering. A large summer basket is included to prevent the pole from sinking into the ground. Additionally, tungsten carbide tips provide durability to the pole. The foam handle and attached wrist strap provide a comfortable grip, with the foam grip extending below the handle to enable you to hold the pole lower. It is recommended that the wrist strap be used when going uphill, and removed for downhill so the pole aren't in your way in case of a fall. The tension system can quickly and easily be adjusted with no tools. To adjust the height, unscrew the middle section, adjust to desired height, and tighten screw firmly. Repeat for lower section. For care, store the pole in a dry place with the sections loosened. Wipe away any dampness from the pole to prevent rusting, which would restrict the pole from extending or retracting.
